Quilence 1.0.6 is a focused fix for subscribers who experienced the paywall appearing briefly when opening the app after it was completely closed.
The Problem
Some subscribers reported that after force-quitting and reopening Quilence, the paywall would briefly appear before disappearing. While tapping "Restore Purchases" always worked, this created an unnecessary friction point - especially frustrating when you've already paid for the app.
The Fix
Your subscription is now recognized instantly.
I've improved how Quilence remembers your subscription status:
- Instant Cache Loading: Your purchase status is now loaded from local cache immediately when the app starts - before any UI decisions are made
- No More Race Condition: Previously, the app would check your subscription status before RevenueCat's servers had time to respond. Now, cached status takes precedence until the server confirms
- Smart Fallback: The cache is trusted for up to 30 days, giving RevenueCat plenty of time to verify your subscription in the background
The result? Open Quilence and start relaxing immediately. No paywall flash, no restore prompts, no waiting.
Technical Details
For the curious: this was a classic async timing issue. The paywall visibility check happened synchronously at app launch, but the subscription verification was asynchronous. By loading a local cache first and preserving that status until the async verification completes, subscribers now see the main player view immediately.
